Special Mojave Update Note for BBEdit Customers
If you are using a version of BBEdit older than 12.1.6 and running macOS 10.14 “Mojave”, you may have difficulty using BBEdit’s built-in software update. BBEdit’s automatic version checking will notify you that an update is available, but the “Install Update” button will appear to do nothing.
If you encounter this symptom, you can resolve it by manually downloading and installing the latest available version of BBEdit, which is available on the BBEdit downloads page.
