Now Supports the Latest Snow Leopard Features

BEDFORD, Mass. – Nov. 10, 2009 – Bare Bones Software today announced the release and immediate availability of Yojimbo™ 2.1, a significant update to the popular, easy-to-use information organizer.

Yojimbo 2.1 adds Speech and Transforms commands to the edit menu and text view contextual menus for text-based notes.

This version also supports the new Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard™ text system features, including automatic spelling correction, text substitution and data detectors. In addition, the Expose ‘Show Desktop’ view now exposes the Yojimbo Drop Dock.

Yojimbo 2.1 now supports .vncloc clipping files. Enhancements to scripting support allow opening the Quick Input Panel via AppleScript and accessing a collection’s icon property from the scripting interface.

Yojimbo Organizes Everything Else

Yojimbo 2 is available at a suggested retail price of US$39 for an individual license; US$69 for a family-pack license for up to five people in a single household; or US$29 for an educational license. All licenses provide for synchronization of multiple computers.

Any registered owner of Yojimbo 1.0 to 1.5.2 can upgrade to Yojimbo 2 for $20, including individual, family and academic licenses.
