Store Sales Policies
Bare Bones Software products are available directly from us, as well as through many major software resellers.
Please note: Product version upgrades, multi-user (site) licenses, and special discounts are only available directly from Bare Bones Software.
Each of our products is offered subject to the terms of the particular license agreement included with that product.
Each of our products offers a 30-day evaluation period during which the software is fully functional, so that you may evaluate its suitability for your needs before purchase. If you have any questions about the behavior or functionality of a product either during the evaluation period or after purchase, please contact our technical support department. If you desire a refund, please contact our sales department within 30 days of your purchase. All refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis.
All our products are available exclusively via electronic delivery (ESD). When your order is processed, we will send you a serial number which you may use to activate the product for which you purchased a license and gain access to its full functionality.
Since your purchase receipt and serial number are only provided in electronic format, you should print or otherwise safely archive a copy of the email invoice you will receive after your order has been processed. This invoice will serve as your proof of purchase and eligibility for tech support, future upgrades, and special offers.
Naturally, we recommend Yojimbo as an excellent repository for purchase receipts and product serial numbers.

E-commerce services for our online store are provided by FastSpring and orders may be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We further request that all single-copy purchases of new licenses be made via our online store. If you are unable to place or complete such a purchase, or if your purchasing process requires vendor registration beyond the provision of a current Form W-9, we recommend that you instead contact one of the resellers listed here. (If a completed W-9 will satisfy your requirements on its own, please contact our sales department and we’ll be happy to provide same.)
For all other purchases, our sales department processes email and faxed orders Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern time. For your protection and ours, orders placed via email or fax are individually reviewed by our sales staff and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Review and processing normally requires 1 to 2 business days from receipt of the incoming order. (Nights, weekends, and holidays are not included in this estimate.)
Duties and Taxes [Domestic and International Orders]:
Any and all duties and/or taxes, including sales tax and VAT/GST, are charged at the discretion of the importing country or locality, and are the responsibility of the customer.
