Product Availability

Bare Bones Software products are available directly from us, as well as through many major software resellers, catalogs, and stores.

Please note: Product version upgrades, multi-user (site) licenses, and special discounts are only available directly from Bare Bones Software.

Terms of Sale

All products are offered subject to the terms of the particular license agreement included with each product.

We offer fully functional demo versions of all our products which you may use to evaluate their suitability for your needs before purchase. If you have any questions about the behavior or functionality of a product either during the demo period or after purchase, please contact our technical support department. If you desire a refund, please contact our sales department within 30 days of your purchase. All refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis.

Electronic (Online) Delivery Information

All our products are available exclusively for electronic delivery. When your order is processed, we will send you a serial number. Use this number to activate the demo version of your software.

Since your purchase receipt and serial number are only provided in electronic format, you should print or otherwise safely archive a copy of the email invoice you will receive after your order has been processed. This invoice will serve as your proof of purchase and eligibility for tech support, future upgrades, and special offers.

Naturally, we recommend Yojimbo as an excellent repository for purchase receipts and product serial numbers.

Order Processing

E-commerce services for our online store are provided by FastSpring and may be placed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

For telephone or fax orders, our sales department processes orders Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm Eastern time. For your protection and ours, orders placed via phone or fax are individually reviewed by our sales staff and are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Review and processing normally requires 1 to 2 business days from receipt of the incoming order. (Nights, weekends, and holidays are not included in this estimate.)

VAT and Duties [International Orders]:
Any VAT and duty costs are charged at the discretion of the importing country, and are the responsibility of the customer.

Payment Options

We accept the following methods of payment for orders placed directly.

  • Credit Cards:
    We accept MasterCard, Visa, and American Express.
  • Checks:
    We accept either company or personal checks. All checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank in U.S. dollars.
  • Money Orders:
    We accept money orders payable in US dollars.
  • Purchase Orders:
    We will accept purchase orders with NET 30 terms, which are placed by D&B-rated U.S. businesses, as well as U.S. educational institutions and government agencies (state or federal). All purchase orders must be submitted via fax or postal mail, using the approved form appropriate for your company or organization. We cannot accept purchase orders placed via email or over the phone.
